RX 7

The second-generation Mazda RX-7, known as the FC3S, was primarily available as a coupe, there was indeed a convertible variant produced. The FC3S RX-7 Convertible was introduced in 1988 and remained in production until 1991.

Stylistically, the FC3S RX-7 Convertible shared much of its design with the coupe variant but featured a power-operated soft-top roof, offering an open-air driving experience. The convertible top could be raised or lowered at the touch of a button, providing the versatility of enjoying the car as a convertible.

Under the hood, the FC3S RX-7 Convertible shared the same engine options as its coupe counterpart. It often featured the naturally aspirated 13B rotary engine, though some markets might have received turbocharged variants. These engines provided spirited performance and the distinct high-revving characteristics associated with rotary powerplants.

The FC3S RX-7 Convertible retained the agile handling and precise chassis dynamics of the coupe, offering a balanced and enjoyable driving experience. Its lightweight design contributed to its nimble performance, making it a fun-to-drive convertible sports car.

The interior of the FC3S RX-7 Convertible mirrored that of the coupe, featuring a driver-centric cockpit with sporty elements and comfortable seating. While the convertible top added versatility, it didn't compromise the overall driving experience or the sporty feel of the car.

The FC3S RX-7 Convertible remains a sought-after classic among enthusiasts due to its unique combination of the RX-7's rotary engine heritage, sporty design, and the appeal of open-top motoring in a performance-oriented package.

At present, our inability to furnish pricing online stems from the dynamic nature of global economics, which has led to substantial fluctuations in the costs of parts and materials on a day-to-day basis. The intricate interplay of market forces, supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical factors has rendered pricing incredibly volatile, making it challenging to provide accurate and up-to-date figures in real-time.

As we remain committed to offering fair and transparent pricing to our customers, we find it prudent to ensure that any pricing information reflects the current market reality, hence our decision to refrain from online pricing until we can reliably provide figures that align with the ongoing fluctuations in the global economy.
